Apply photo adjustments with a preview
Photo filters change the appearance of existing pixels. The controls adjust the rendering that you see in the preview and the canvas export, so you can compare warmer, monochrome, or brighter versions before downloading.
How to use this tool
- Load a photo into the filter tool.
- Adjust brightness to recover a dark-looking image, then contrast to balance light and shadow.
- Change saturation for muted or vivid colors, or use grayscale or sepia for a stylistic version.
- Use blur cautiously, preview the result at readable size, and export when satisfied.
Practical tips
- Try small contrast and saturation changes first; extreme values can conceal texture.
- Grayscale is useful for tonal comparison; it cannot restore detail lost from the source.
- Excessive blur affects text and important edges, so it is better suited to backgrounds than labels.
Common questions
Can filters fix an out-of-focus photo?
No. These adjustments do not reconstruct detail that was not captured.
Can I combine several filters?
Yes. The preview and output apply the active filter adjustments together.
Limitations: Adjustments are baked into the exported file; keep the original if you may want another look.
